Overview

3 Degrees Ministries is a contemporary church and live Christian music venue located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. Our Mission is to make Christianity relevant and accessible using creative methods to provide an environment where anyone can experience the unconditional love, presence and life changing power of God. Our Vision is drawn from Exodus 33. 3 Degrees stands in the gap as the premier nightclub of Minneapolis, building a thriving downtown congregation that reaches into and transforms the city for Christ.

Statement of Faith

1. We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
2. We believe that the Bible is God's written revelation to man, that it is divinely inspired, authoritative, and without error in the original manuscripts. In the Bible, we find God’s eternal and unchanging will for men and women of all ages making it the divine and final authority for the Christian life.
3. We believe Jesus Christ is the union of God and man. He is True God and True Man, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as a cleansing sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into Heaven and is presently seated at the right hand of the Father as our high priest and advocate.
4. We believe that man was created in the image of God but, because of sin (disobedience to God), became separated from God. Eternal fellowship with God can only be restored by receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, trusting in Him for the forgiveness of sins through His redemptive sacrifice on the cross and confessing Him as Lord. We further believe that it is God's will for all to come to this decision and choose to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
5. We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, that He performs the miracle of the new birth upon receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and indwells believers enabling them to live godly lives.
6. We believe that there is a further experience of the Holy Spirit available to all Christians known as the "Baptism of the Holy Spirit" which is followed by the outward evidence of “speaking in tongues”. The “Baptism of the Holy Spirit” is provided to equip and empower the Christian for service and witness.
